create my own avatar? Sign up for a free avatar from the
home page and follow instructions. Create your avatar. Save it. Now you
can enter in any virtual world created with 3DXplorer, no matter on
which web site, or by who.

How do I
create my own custom 3D space? You can either fully
customize rooms and objects available through 3DXplorer library of
objects, or build your own proprietary 3D models by importing them into
3DXplorer.

| To
customize your scene: |
| |
- Select one of our
standard scenes: virtual office, virtual showroom, living room,
bedroom…
- Customize it by
changing the colors or the materials of the walls, the
flooring,…
- Add furniture and
decorative objects, including posters and pictures on the wall,
wherever you like in your scene. Objects can be either selected from
3DXplorer library or uploaded by yourself from your own
creations
- Customize the
colors/materials/orientation/size of the objects you just
added
- Replace the framed
pictures by uploading your own pictures (jpg, gif, …)
- Add an ambiance music
which can be either standard or controllable by the visitor (upload
your mp3 files)
- Decide what type of
actions you permit for your visitors in the scene.
- Decide if you want the
space to be visited by avatars and the max number of authorized avatars
in the scene.

To Build a full new
proprietary scene, use standard modeling tools such as 3DSMax (from
Autodesk) or Sketchup Pro (from Google), and import your model into
3DXplorer. It will become a new scene ready for customization.
Open
architecture: 3Dxplorer is not yet another virtual
world, with a proprietary environment where you move in, but a tool to
transform your own website or applications into a 3D space
where your customers or your visitors can walk in and interact with you
(and with each other if appropriate).
